How-To Video: Metallic Stamping

Happy Monday, everyone.

Quick video for you this morning showing off the new Metallic Staz-On Inks.  They are wonderful!  They stamp so well on acetate/transparency, paper and more.  This video just shows the basics.  Oh, and forgive my messy hands – a day of gardening and stamping wasn’t good to them…

Here is the card made with Hero Arts stamps.  I know these flowers are usually white, but I added a bit of yellow to make them pop…

052210 Silver StazOn JenMcGuire

Love the texture of the metallic when it is clear embossed…

052210 Silver StazOn JenMcGuire 2 Supplies: Metallic Staz-On Ink; Hero Arts stamps (flourish background, text background, flowers), clear embossing powder, notecard, Grass Chalk Ink and clear card; Copic Markers (YG17, YG67, Y000, Y11, Y21, Blender); May Arts Ribbon; Doodlebug Button; Neenah white paper; Fiskars Stamp Press (the clear thing with orange feet) and Trimmer; American Crafts pop-dots.

You can get these fab inks HERE.  There are four: Silver, Gold, Copper and Platinum.  I can’t really pick a favorite – sorry – they are all lovely.  They come with a reinker as they need to be reinked often…

Stazonsilver

(No – they didn’t pay me for this. I just love the product and had to share.)

You can find the Stamp Press (that makes non-wiggle stamping possible) HERE and the trimmer HERE.  As for the other products I used, just click on the links in the green supply list under the card photo above.

OH!  And this week the Hero Arts blog will be giving sneak peeks at all the new stamps about to be released.  Check it out HERE.

Have a good Monday!

Love the bright cheery colors!!! While watching the video assembly of the card I thought that you could skip one step of cutting the green card in half by just sliding the edge of the acetate card into the green card, flipping it so folds are across frome ach other, at the fold, stamping first on the correct side. It would give the edge of the card the fold at the bottom edge on the green. Great card either way!!!!
