Fast and Fresh Giveaway…

Good evening!  Thanks for all the well wishes coming from my fellow twitter folks.  Colin and I have been slammed big time by allergies – we are doing pretty rough.  But we will be fine.  I had a class tonight, which I made through thanks to some meds. πŸ™‚

Wanted to do a post before heading to bed…

First, quickly, I wanted to announce that Kellie Cox is the winner of the My Favorite Things stamp giveaway.  Congrats!

Next, I have another giveaway!

Creating Keepsakes has a new special issue out that I LOVE.  It is called Fast and Fresh Scrapbooks and it goes on sale today.  Want a sneak peek?  Just click HERE.  Sweet, huh?  One thing I love about the book is it has a lot of great tips, along with yummy page ideas.

If you would like to get your copy, use code "FAST-BLOG" for 20% off your purchase at the Creating Keepakes Shop HERE between May 10-31.

In the meantime, I have a copy to give away!  Just leave a comment by Friday at 11:59pmEST telling me your favorite idea book or site and I will pick a winner of this new book…

(Another quick note: If you are in the Cincinnati/Dayton area, Jana is teaching a Copic class at Simply Scrapbooks.  This will be a GREAT class – click HERE for info.)

  1. I love the inspiration at Ali Edwards blog. And I still reach for Becky Higgins’ Sketches for quick reference.

  2. I go to so many places for ideas and inspiration, one of my favorites is Close to My Heart, their idea books and website – I love being a junior consultant of CTMH and teaching scrapbooking with their products to a small group of friends.

  3. Hi Jennifer – you have always been an inspiration to me!! I miss the “designing with” calendars and books that you did several years ago with Autumn Leaves. I had my calendars spiral-bound and I love looking through them for ideas!! I also have to say that I’m a demonstrator for Stampin’ Up and I love their catalogs!! They are chock full of ideas. I hope you guys feel better soon!

  4. I spend way too much time looking at blogs. I do love yours! But my favorite books are still Cathy Zielske’s Clean and Simple, the original and the sequel.

  5. my go to place is the hero arts blog and then your blog–i get so many great ideas. i print them out and place then in my binder to create my own book of ideas.

  6. My favorite go-to idea book is Easy Patterns for Scrapbooking by Brenda Arnall. I would love to see her do more editions of this. Anyone know how I can request that?!?!?!

  7. I love my magazines…(CK and Scrapbooks Etc)…every month I love browsing and enjoying all the new ideas and layouts. I also love Two Peas in a Bucket….especially the Finally Friday cards…those are more my speed, although I wish I were as talented and creative as you! Thanks for the chance to win….magazines and special editions are my FAVORITE!!!

  8. I love reading scrapbookers’ blogs for inspiration, as well as browsing galleries such as Two Peas or Club CK.
Thanks for the chance to win!!

  9. I really like Creating Keepsakes “Creativity Tips” book. Lots of really neat ideas. Thanks for the giveaway!

  10. I have used Becky Higgins sketches to do a scrapbook. I love to look through cards magazines and have bought several books off the internet. My favorite site is Papertrey Ink. I got to meet several of the design team members at CHA in Orlando last summer and did make and takes at their booth. I have your blog sent to me each evening and last week was doing cards from an idea I got from you, using a different Hero Arts stamp. I could do nothing without all this help. I have to have a pattern and then “color within the colorbook lines”!

  11. I would love to win this. It looks really good. I have two favorites: Becky Higgins Best of Sketches and Page Maps.

  12. I have to say you, Stephanie Howell, & Noell Hyman/paperclipping are favorites for inspiration. I also always look forward to Unity Stamp blog hops each week. They have amazing talent over there

  13. I love manufacturer’s blog for inspiration and i love my CK. With our fourth baby, I could use all the help for fast pages cause I lack the time and inspiration these days.

  14. A new favorite idea book of mine is A Compendium of Curiosities by Tim Holtz. I love to see anything having to do with papercrafts. I saw on TV today that Martha Stewart has a new craft encyclopedia out. Papercrafting is an addiction for me and I think I would rather buy craft stuff than food. OH DEAR! LOL!

  15. I check Papertrey Ink regularly for ideas and inspiration. I also check all of the PTI DT blogs. There are so many talented crafters to get inspiration from! This magazine looks like another fabulous source of ideas!

  16. I love reading blogs, yours, Elizabeth Kartcher and Ali Edwards’ are my faves. Thanks for all the inspiration!

  17. I love Stacy Julian’s books The Big Picture and Photo Freedom. They aren’t typical idea books, but they fill me with inspiration every time I open either one of them!

  21. This may be off the beaten path, but my favorite book for quite some time is The Organized and Inspired Scrapbooker! I look back at it frequently to see how people use their space creatively. I also like Real Life Scrapbooking a lot. πŸ™‚

    best.. thanks for the opportunity..

YES!
