Kid’s parties

Hey!  Well, I survived our bowling party with almost 20 four-year-olds and such today.  In fact, it was perfect.  We had his school friends, and these are the most wonderfully behaved children.  (Their school has a true Montessori environment that is amazing.)  The parents are all so kind.  And I love that many of his classmates are from other countries (Spain, Japan, China, Italy, etc.) – such wonderful diversity.

So… I love putting these kids parties together.  I try not to go overboard (as requested by my husband – ha), but do try to add some fun touches here and there.  Once I get the photos together from this year's party, I will share them.  But in the meantime, here are the goodies from his 3rd birthday last year.  He was into pirates after meeting some real ones in the Caribbean.

(Oh, and you can see his first birthday invite HERE.)

Tomorrow is a bummer of a day – the last day of Spring Break.  It was a great week.  Hope yours was too!

Your invites and goodies bags are so precious! I bet alot of happy little pirates left your son’s party that day.

This brings back fond memories. (My daughter turns 21 next month.) I think my favorite was her fireman party when she turned four. The firehouse was down the street from us, so we took a little field trip. I think the kids had as much fun ‘riding’ on the truck as I did decorating the cake. Happy birthday to Colin.
