RUN FAST… Distress Inks are in!

I am so thrilled.  These are new Distress Inks are delicious.

You can find them all HERE.  They will go fast, I am sure. I am off to get another set of each. (Yes, it is an addiction.  But not a bad addiction, right?)

Here is a color chart I did for you using THIS punch.  Forgive how sloppy they are.  Snow day here – so I had a little one helping me. :)   My faves?  Barn Door, Rusty Hinge, Wild Honey, Crushed Olive, Pumice Stone (think metal) and Chipped Sapphire Distress Inks(ETA: BTW… if they are sold out, you can also pre-order them each or the whole set at a discount HERE.  They should get any day now, too.)

Ink Distress

And I have gotten a lot of questions about the new Hero Hues Chalk Inks HERE. These are delicious, I tell ya.  I reach for them a lot.  They absorb for such intense color… fool-proof and great for beginners and advanced stampers.  Great for tone-on-tone dark backgrounds, too.  My faves?  I like them ALL. :)   The Snow is great on Kraft and dark cardstocks.

Ink Chalk

And the classy Shadow Inks HERE.  These are soft and pretty… great for tone-on-tone backgrounds on soft papers.  (Much better than Versamark.)  And good for stamping light images.  My faves?  Pool, Apricot, Sand and Leaf.

Ink Shadow
OK… hope that this helps you pick the inks you need.  I honestly use these inks above more than any other.  (Add in the old Distress Inks, too.)

See you later!

I love all the colors! I can’t decide which ones to buy (i.e., I’m going to have to buy them all).

Wow! What an awesome post today–This is exactly what I was needing! Love all those colors–My 2Peas wish list just doubled today! Give your darling little helper a big thank you hug for me. :)

So are Hero Arts chalk inks similar to Colorbox Chalk inks? More or less wet? Will they permanently stain clear stamps? I’ve tried stamping with my colorbox inks and didn’t like it much, but I am addicted to them for other things. While I’m asking, would you say the white chalk ink is your favorite white ink? I’m still searching for a favorite…

    Thanks! :)

P.S. On Bachelor news, I also heard Jake picked Vienna, but from the clips on Monday I’m starting to wonder if he actually turned them both away which would be a shocker… I heard speculation they didn’t air some early friction between the girls with Vienna because they wanted to paint her in a better light since he picks her in the end (might explain why all the girls were so mad at her without the audience knowing why). I’m bummed with the whole thing…

Those “shadow inks” look very interesting. I do have all of the “old” Tim Holtz distress ink colors, and have the new ones on my “wish list” for my birthday next month. I love using distress inks on all of my cardmaking projects, along with Hero Art Stamps!

I know I want all the Distress Inks. Problem is I still don’t have all the old colors. :-( I have the names written down, and will gather them as I can. I never thought I would be a Distress Ink junkie – but I am. I also like the chalk inks – I want Snow for sure.

Thanks for posting the color samples. It’s so hard to tell what color they are from the packaging. I picked up chipped sapphire tonight and am so excited to use it. I just know more colors will be taking up residence at my home soon! Have a great weekend.

yes, i am bummed with the bachelor thing, too.
i like that white ink a lot.
hero chalk inks are tons better than the colorbox – better color coverage.

so pretty. *sigh* i think my husband might get jealous over my love of inks. it’s like when meg ryan in You’ve Got Mail blissfully states how she loves autumn, like a bouquet of sharpened pencils. Except for me it is a stack of inks. I love geting my hands dirty playing with them. Thanks for sharing!
