Gift Card Card

A card that holds a gift card.  Would that be called a Gift Card Card?  Not sure what to call it, but I love to make them.

Basically, the gift card slides between that blue piece and the white piece.  The only thing holding these pieces together is the sewing at the top and bottom.  Another tip: I used pop dots under the clear tag for a shadow-box look… just some fun dimension.

Sue Card 3 copy

Supplies:
Hero Arts stamps (circle, background), clear tags, snowflake brad, gems
White Memories Ink (doesn't that look cool on the navy notecard?)
Black Memories Ink
Paper Shaper punches (1" and 1 3/4")
Creative Impressions Silk Ribbon

I am loving this set these days.  Hoping to use it for making all my gift tags for under the tree.  Hoping. :)

This picture doesn’t so this justice. The effect with the tag raised off the front is really cool.
