How-To Video: Raised (Glittered) Edge

Have you ever been making a card and then decide to add something… only to realize immediately that it looked better before?

This happens to me often.  I usually just leave it as is and move on to the next thing… thinking of it as a lesson learned.  I rarely redo things. Me + cardmaking = lazy. :)

Anyway, here is a video for a card that is on Hero Arts HERE.  It shows how to create a raised edge on a card.  And then I show how to mess it up by adding glitter. Hee…

Off to go see a movie with my girlfriends.  I will post a winner for the giveaway tonight.  Have a good one…

You can never have enough bling…especially on a peacock! He looks happy and the card is perfect! Just enough glitter, I think…

Too much glitter??? Not in my world. I love the card and the colors and especially the glitter. It’s a perfectly happy card anyone would want to receive. I love the stamps. Perfect for a layout I want to do with recent photos we took at the L.A. Arboretum. Peacocks are walking around all over the park…you almost have to step around them..it’s amazing and they are incredibly beautiful.

I love it, and I actually like the glitter border better. But then again, I’m like a raccoon when it comes to shiny stuff!! :) I gotta get some of that blending stuff, that’s fabulous!

Oh the peacock brings back happy memories of my childhood. Our friends had a pet peacock that roamed their land. He was very friendly too.

Thanks for showing this new set. I will looking for it at SYAO.

Your card is very happy and looks perfect for a peacock card. Got to have glitter.
