I love making gifts…

… and I just don’t get to do it much anymore.  But I did do something quick today that I thought I would share.

Colin’s babysitter, Katie, is wonderful.  She lives right next door and takes Colin every Monday for 2 hours so I can work.  And he loves her.  Makes cookies with her and talks her ears off.  She is his girlfriend and gets jealous when she is with her real boyfriend.

Anyway, everyone knows that once you have a good sitter, you want to keep them happy, right? :)   So I wanted to get her something extra cool for her 16th birthday.

Was talking to my fab friends Ginger and Jana and they suggested a cute wallet with a bunch of gift cards in it.  Perfect!  So here it is.

Nothing fabulous, but I thought their idea was great.  I put in it a $20 (with a note saying "gas money") and gift cards to Old Navy, iTunes, Target and Starbucks.

Colin picked out the wallet and did some coloring on the label.  (Well, he first picked an ugly Bratz wallet before I suggested this one.)  And, of course, I wrapped with with scrapbooking paper and a glitter letter.  (Yes, I was too lazy to go upstairs to get real wrapping paper.)

Anyway, just wanted to share their great idea.  Thanks, girls!

Off to work on a video I want to share soon.  Oh, and a few people asked what Gamsol is.  It is a stamper’s dream come true – it is used to blend colored pencils. I will video it sometime… it is cool.

Talk soon!

And, we found that all the best babysitters are under 16.. Once they start driving, and expanding their social circles, it’s curtains….
